About us:
Northern Lakes Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, three-doctor small animal practice in Ashland, New Hampshire. We deliver high-quality medicine with a supportive, collaborative team and a loyal client base. Our hospital offers comprehensive general practice care, strong preventive medicine, dentistry, and routine to advanced soft tissue surgery. We are growth-minded and committed to mentorship for new graduates as well as professional development for experienced DVMs.
Location highlight: Ashland sits in the scenic Lakes Region near Squam Lake with year-round access to the White Mountains. We are just off I-93 with easy drives to Concord and Manchester, and about two hours to Boston for weekend trips.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) required
- Compassionate, team-oriented approach
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the veterinary team while upholding medical standards
- Develop and implement medical protocols
- Perform routine and advanced surgeries
- Interpret lab results to support accurate diagnoses
- Educate and build strong relationships with clients
