Introduction Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their established general practice that also provides daily urgent care and walk-in services. Working Hours / Rota This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Wednesday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care, including physical examinations, surgeries, dentistry, diagnostics, and client consultations. Strong client communication and education are essential parts of this role. Responsibilities include generating and presenting treatment plans, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting the development of the paraprofessional team. Candidates should be experienced and dedicated to practicing the highest standard of medicine while treating each patient and client with compassion and respect. Practice Details The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic modalities, including digital radiography, ultrasound, cytology, endoscopy, in-house IDEXX laboratory equipment, therapeutic laser, acupuncture, and digital dental radiography. Services offered include urgent care, surgery, wellness visits, dental hygiene, diagnostics, vaccinations, spay/neuter, senior care, exotic and pocket pet medicine, and behavior and nutrition consultations.
