Veterinary Surgical Technician

As a Veterinary Surgical Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting with surgeries, monitoring anesthesia, and ensuring the well-being of our patients. Daily Responsibilities:

Assist with surgical preparation, procedures, and post-operational care
Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgeries
Provide fear-free handling and care for patients
Perform SQ, IM and IV injections/IV Catheter Placement and Venipuncture
Assist with dental prophylaxis and preventive care 
Sample collection/in-house labs Ability to reconstitute Meds

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with X-rays and lab procedures
Knowledge of public health and preventive medicine
Fear Free Certified

Requirements

Required Skills:

Registered or Certified Veterinary Technician
Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance 
Proficient in IV catheterization and medication administration
Knowledge of surgical procedures and discharge planning
Ability to perform triage, catheterization, and venipuncture
