Are you a skilled and compassionate veterinary technician looking to join a dedicated and supportive team? Animal Medical Center of Tyler is seeking a full-time, experienced Veterinary Technician to help us provide exceptional care to our patients and outstanding service to our clients.
About Us
Animal Medical Center of Tyler is a full-service veterinary hospital offering advanced medical, surgical, and preventive care for both domestic pets and exotic species. Our team is passionate about animal health, client education, and creating a positive, collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, and procedures
- Perform laboratory testing, radiographs, and anesthetic monitoring
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Provide compassionate nursing care and patient monitoring
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding patient care and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital cleanliness and safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of veterinary technician experience required
- LVT/CVT/RVT license preferred, but experienced unlicensed technicians will be considered
- Strong knowledge of animal handling, anesthesia, and laboratory skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Passion for patient care, client education, and continuous learning
