Animal Medical Center of Tyler is a full-service veterinary hospital offering advanced medical, surgical, and preventive care for both domestic pets and exotic species. Our team is passionate about animal health, client education, and creating a positive, collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, and procedures
• Perform laboratory testing, radiographs, and anesthetic monitoring
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
• Provide compassionate nursing care and patient monitoring
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding patient care and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital cleanliness and safety standards

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of veterinary technician experience required
• LVT/CVT/RVT license preferred, but experienced unlicensed technicians will be considered
• Strong knowledge of animal handling, anesthesia, and laboratory skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Passion for patient care, client education, and continuous learning
