Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate DVM to join our clinical team, with the potential to step into a Medical Director role for the right candidate. You'll deliver top-tier veterinary care in a diverse practice setting, collaborate with experienced colleagues, and contribute to our culture of integrity, service, and compassion.
Key responsibilities:
Provide high-quality veterinary medicine and surgery to dogs and cats (routine exams, preventive care, dental, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery).
Participate in diagnostics using our in-house lab and imaging capabilities.
Educate clients and build long-term relationships.
Collaborate with our team across departments to deliver seamless patient care.
For the Medical Director track: leadership in clinical protocols, mentoring colleagues, driving hospital initiatives and growth.
Qualifications
DVM (or equivalent) from accredited institution.
Licensed (or eligible for license) to practice veterinary medicine in Connecticut.
Strong interest and competence in general practice medicine and surgery.
Excellent client communication skills and team orientation.
For Medical Director track: leadership ability, desire to take on mentorship and management duties.
