About You
As a Tech Supervisor, you'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing comprehensive care throughout their journey. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to surgery assistance, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.
Experience & Skills Requirements:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Demonstrates highly advanced proficiency as a Veterinary Technician within their appropriate department and maintains all relevant skills and knowledge in order to lead other technicians and assistants in the delivery of quality nursing care
Works with veterinarians on shift to plan and organize work flow for the shift
Creates effective working relationships with hospital leadership
Serves as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge
Work with manager to implement process improvement initiatives that remove barriers to excellent service
Facilitate an environment of ongoing communication and feedback
Coach team members
May provide feedback to Practice Manager related to technician and technician assistant performance to be utilized during annual review
Requirements
Preferred: Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team. Previous supervisory or lead experience required.
Demonstrated advanced skill level and ability to lead other technicians is required
Frequently lift and move patients up to 35 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
Frequently stand, walk, bend, or reach for up to 10 hours a day
Strong interpersonal skills: able to communicate effectively with clients, doctors, management and hospital personnel

Our AAHA accredited and feline-friendly hospital operates on a walk-in service and serves a well-established client base. We take pride in our strong focus on teamwork, collaboration, and delivering exceptional care to every patient.
We are open Monday through Friday 7:30am - 8pm
